Drilling will test two strong soil anomalies on the eastern margin of the Mons Greenstone Belt
Keypoints:
- Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program has commenced at the Corporate James gold prospect within the Mons Project in Western Australia
- Drilling is testing the bedrock source of the coherent 720m x 350m gold-in-soil anomaly at Corporate James and the anomaly at Corporate James South, 3.6km to the south-west
- The drilling program comprises approximately 25 holes for 6000m and represents the first-ever drilling at the ~16km-long Corporate James Trend along the eastern granite-greenstone contact of the Mons Greenstone Belt
- A third coherent anomaly, Corporate James East, reported on 29 September 2026, comprises 17 consecutive samples ≥10 ppb Au over 800m and is open to the east
- Drilling is expected to be completed by Christmas 2026; samples to be analysed by Intertek, with an expected laboratory turnaround of approximately six weeks
- The Corporate James Trend sits within a broader ~85km of untested granite-greenstone contact, offering significant follow-up potential
Nimy Resources Limited (ASX: NIM) is pleased to advise that the maiden RC drilling program is underway at its Corporate James gold prospect.
Corporate James sits within the Company’s 100%-owned Mons Project, located approximately 370km north-east of Perth and 140km north-northwest of Southern Cross in Western Australia’s Yilgarn Craton.
Nimy, Managing Director Luke Hampson said:
We have outlined two highly promising gold anomalies with extensive soil sampling and we are extremely keen to get the drill bit into them. These are the first holes ever drilled for gold on the eastern margin of the Mons Greenstone Belt and our soil sampling has highlighted the potential for a large mineralised system. The upside is supported by the fact that we have now defined three strong gold anomalies along this trend – Corporate James, Corporate James South and, most recently, Corporate James East. This program is designed to find the bedrock source of that gold”.
